For the purpose of the “New Listings - Application Proof, OC Announcements, PHIP and Related Materials” page and these explanatory notes, “Application Proof” means:

   (a)
a Public AP published in accordance with Main Board Rule 12.01A or 20.25; or
       
   (b)
in the case of a new applicant that has not published a Public AP but elects to publish a subsequent draft of the listing document before the publication of the PHIP, the Updated Application Proof published in accordance with the Note to Main Board Rule 12.01A or 20.25.

    "Active"        
    Any valid listing or authorisation application and includes an application of which the review of a decision to return or reject the application is pending
  • The name of the new applicant
  • The contents of the latest submitted Application Proof (if published), OC Announcement, PHIPs and statements under Main Board Rule 9.08(2)(c), in each case, to the extent applicable

Note: If a new applicant has not previously published any Application Proof, OC Announcement or PHIP, the above information will not be published
    "Inactive" comprising:
  • "Lapsed"
  • "Withdrawn"
  • "Rejected"
     
  • Any lapsed application
  • Any withdrawn application
  • Any rejected application
  • The name of the new applicant
  • A record of the date and description of the documents previously published
Notes:
  1. If a new applicant has not previously published any Application Proof, OC Announcement or PHIP, the above information will not be published
  2. The contents of all previously published documents will no longer be accessible but there will be a record of these documents
    "Listed"
    Any application of which the applicant is subsequently listed on the Exchange
  • The name of the new applicant
  • The contents of the latest submitted Application Proof (if published), OC Announcement, PHIPs and statements under Main Board Rule 9.08(2)(c), in each case, to the extent applicable, can be viewed and downloaded under "Listed Company Information" on the HKEXnews website
    "Returned"
    Any application returned by the Exchange under Main Board Rule 9.03(3) or the Commission (as the case may be) where all related review procedures on the decision to return the application have been completed or the time for invoking them has lapsed
  • The name of the new applicant
  • The name of the sponsor or listing agent
  • The names and roles of other professional parties involved in the proposed listing, as required to be disclosed for a returned application under the relevant guidance published on the Exchange’s website (as amended from time to time)*
  • The date of return of application
  • The reason for return*
Notes:
  1. All information above will be published even if an Application Proof was not previously published on the Exchange’s website
  2. All other information previously categorised as "Active" will be removed
